Eight snooker tables over two floors, ten English pool, three American, a darts zone and a licensed bar. A private members club — and guests are welcome.
Racks prides itself on its facilities and friendly service, and it's family owned. The club has undergone a complete refurbishment giving it a fresh and modern outlook.
There are eight snooker tables split over two floors — four of them match quality standard — three American pool tables and ten English pool tables, all maintained and kept to a high standard.
We're a private members club offering Full, Junior (under 18) and Senior (65+) membership. Members get cheaper hourly rates on all our tables, half-rate tables Monday to Friday all day for solo players, and marathon rates day and night, seven days a week.
64-player draw, first prize £750. Members get first refusal until 1 September.
Back in play from Thursday. Table 7 goes next in September.
Division 1 champions with two fixtures to spare. Presentation night on the 21st.
On the current site this box is empty. A club that posts three lines a week looks alive; one that posts nothing looks shut.
Never been up before? Call or just walk in and mention it at the bar.
This is a look ahead, not the first job. The first job is the site around it — secure, on a phone, up to date. Online booking is a proper project in its own right: it needs the club's diary, a view for staff behind the bar, and a walk-in quota so regulars who just turn up are never locked out. Nothing behind the bar has to change on day one. Try the flow anyway — it shows where the site can go.
The board behind the bar, on the home page — what's free right now across all twenty-one tables, without ringing to ask. It reads the same club diary the booking flow writes to, which is why the two belong in the same phase.
The version shown here is simulated. The feature menu has the honest build-or-buy numbers for when this phase is worth talking about.
The board behind the bar, on a phone, from home. That's the whole idea.
Eight full-size snooker tables split over two floors — five on the first floor next to the bar, and three match tables on the second floor, in a quieter area of the club. All tables are brushed, ironed and maintained to a high standard. Our resident professional Dylan Leary wouldn't have it any other way.
The club supports local teams, and there are often matches on up the club — a great atmosphere, and some great players to watch. Tables get busy at peak times, so members can ring ahead to reserve one.
Cues, rests and spiders are all provided. If you'd rather use your own, the Cue Zone will re-tip it while you play.

For the club, not the public — what the site can do, in the order it pays off. The first build is the job being proposed; the rest are extensions for later. Live in demo means you can click it now. Effort: S a day or so, M about a week, L the big one.
"Not Secure" gone from the address bar.
Hours, address and prices marked up so Google shows them right — checked against whatever the listing already has.
The club posts it themselves, from a phone — no developer in the loop.
Everything below needs payments, a backend or the club's own systems. Priced separately, built once the site has earned it.
Game, time, pick your table — and what's free right now. Club diary, staff view on a tablet, walk-in rules, no-show tracking.
Card on file, renews itself, member rates applied automatically.
All four leagues, calendar subscribe — can't go stale.
Each small once payments and messaging are in.
Off-the-shelf booking runs ~$29 a table a month — roughly $600 a month across 21 tables, forever. Built into the club's own site it's a one-off, and the customer data stays with the club. Both numbers belong in front of the owner.
In the finished site this opens a real form wired to the club's system. This is a demo, so it stops here.
